YOUR ROLE

As a Specialist Nursing Assistant, you will be an important part of our team. Approximately half of your working hours are dedicated to tasks that are central to your role. The exact scope may vary over time based on the needs of the organization. You will work weekends and evenings, but to a lesser extent than other nursing assistants.

In your role, you provide support to individuals in the areas of cognitive impairment, psychiatry, and palliative care. You introduce, guide, and educate colleagues in these areas. You drive quality work, are responsible for the BPSD registry, and act as a contact person in palliative care. Additionally, you contribute to developing and inspiring activities that make everyday life safe and meaningful for individuals.

As a Specialist Nursing Assistant, you will also be part of a network where you share experiences, create conditions for new knowledge, and inspire each other to stay updated. Together with your colleague, you will also help develop and shape the mission at Höjden, with the opportunity to influence work methods and contribute to the continued development of the organization. YOUR COMPETENCE AND EXPERIENCE

We are looking for someone who is a trained Specialist Nursing Assistant, with a focus on psychiatry, palliative care, cognitive diseases, or elderly care. If you also have experience working with individuals with cognitive diseases, we see that as an additional strength.

To thrive in the role, we believe you are an empathetic and secure person who enjoys collaborating. You easily recognize the needs of others, can plan and structure your work, but are also flexible when the situation requires it. Inspiring and supporting colleagues comes naturally to you – and you like to stay updated in your field.

You need to have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as sufficient physical conditions to handle the practical parts of the job. Knowledge of Finnish, Sámi, or sign language is an advantage.
